Hardware Features
Reagent probe
High grade stainless steel – preheated with liquid level detection with aspiration / dispensing volume range from 50 to 500ul, Probe cleaning done both internally and externally. Reagent pick up and dispensing is done through a specially designed dilutor for high accuracy and precision
Sample probe
Aspiration / dispensing through high grade stainless steel with liquid level detection capable of picking sample volume from 2.5 to 30ul, probe cleaning is done both internally and externally, the sample needle has a built-in two stage vibrator for mixing samples. Sample pick up and dispensing is done through a specially designed dilutor for high accuracy and precision
Reaction cuvettes
Reaction cuvettes - the instruments comes with uniquely designed 50 disposable reaction cuvettes with 10 segments of 5 cuvettes, minimum reaction volume of 200ul. The temperature of reaction cuvettes is maintained @37°C by way of incubating coil
Sample tray
Has 26 open positions for samples, standard, calibrator and controls, with adaptability to primary tubes as well as pediatric cups, minimum sample volume for pediatric being 60 μl
Reagent tray
Has 26 open R1 and R2 positions with 13 slots for 10ml and 30 ml system packs, It also has a built in refrigeration system( peltier based) for cooling between 10°C to 15°C below ambient temperature
Built-in stabilizer
smara is equipped with a Built-in in stabilizer- externally located power supply capable of operating the equipment between 115-230 volts +/- 10%, 50 to 60 hz
Liquid management
Non vaccumised wash and waste bottle with level sensing Wash bottle is equipped with water conductivity sensor thus ensuring proper water quality. Waste bottle is also equipped with a level sensor. Capacity of wash and waste bottle is 2 liters
